Food Service Supervisors supervise Food Service Workers in the performance of duties related to food preparation, food serving and/or general maintenance in a kitchen or dining area; and perform other related duties as required.

- Salary – 26.50 HOUR hourly for 35 to 40 hours per week
- Terms of employment – Permanent employment, Full-time
- Day, Evening, On Call, Morning
- Start date – Starts as soon as possible.
Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
or equivalent experience
1 to less than 7 months
Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food; Supervise and check assembly of trays; Supervise and check delivery of food trolleys; Prepare food order summaries for chef; Prepare and submit reports; Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage; Establish work schedules; Estimate and order ingredients and supplies; Ensure food service and quality control; Must have knowledge of the establishment’s culinary genres.
Address customers’ complaints or concerns; Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures; Prepare budget and cost estimates; Establish methods to meet work schedules; Hire food service staff.
